Corona Virus Risk Prevention Office Policy

In an effort to implement Best Practices to reduce the potential spread of the Corona Virus, I have implemented the following office procedures in order to continue to serve my clients and meet all deadlines while creating and maintaining the safest Professional Office environment possible during these uncertain times. Please read this notice carefully and abide by the new policies to the best of your abilities.

  • No Client un-scheduled “walk-in” office visits will be permitted until further notice; if you are coming to make a payment to me please MAIL your payment instead of delivering it in person.
  • Secured Lock Box: Please use the lock box in the hall placed on the left side of the entrance door if you were bringing in documents. Please drop the documents into the secured lockbox using sealed envelopes; be sure to label the envelopes with your full name and address and drop them all into the secured lock box. My staff will check this box several times a day and will call and leave you a voice mail message to let you know we have received your documents. You may also email documents to [email protected] or fax to 860-243-0106.
  • All the usual in person appointments will now be done telephonically, to include: New Client Free Initial Consults; Status Appointments; DRL and Review & Signs appointments. My paralegals will reach out to any Clients currently scheduled for an office consult to coordinate how these appointments will now be held.
  • Please be assured that me and my staff are continuing to work full time to meet all necessary case deadlines. Also, the Bankruptcy Courts have instituted similar “safe distancing measures” which resulted in canceling in-court hearings and changing those to “telephonic hearings only” until further notice. Please do not go to the Bankruptcy Court for a hearing, even if you received a notice to attend, before calling my office to verify that your appearance is allowed.

I wish the very best to you and your family in these trying time so work hard to stay healthy and safe!

My Best Regards,
Charles A. Maglieri, Esq.
